Under whatever circumstances...especially when dealing with other people who make you angry. What do you do to refrain from feeding your anger? How do you control your anger from getting out of hand?
take deep breaths and count to 10...or else try to prevent interacting with those people who tick you offHow do you control your anger from getting out of hand?
You need to understand how your anger makes others, especially those you care for, feel. It is not enough to feel bad after you have blown up at someone. You need to always be conscious of how your words and actions affect those around you. It's okay to be angry, but you need to learn to keep it in check.
How do we control our anger? We cannot control how and when we get angry but we can control and choose what we want to do with our anger. If we know that we fly off the handle easily, there are ways that we can do to manage it. Find out how you can control yr anger

since humans are visual creatures picture a stop sign in your head and spell the word stop before you speak this will help with reacting before thinking
evaluate the situation and determine if the person is intentionally trying to hurt, inconvenience, or anger you if the answer is no consider the motivation for their behavior if the answer is yes you have to determine if this is someone you want in your life
finally look at the situation to determine if you are reacting rationally or irrationally your source of anger may be internal instead of external
i get pissed alot of times to (when i was younger and kinda still) but 1 day somthing happened and i had realized i had to take responsiblity for my actions. i was playing a game on my ps2 and this boss kept killing me. i was so mad....I MEAN REALLY MAD. i kept thinking, this guy is cheating!!!! ITS NOT FAIR!!! then i got so pissed i threw the controller at the ps2........it broke. then i stormed away, ran into my room and laid down. later a friend of mine invited me to play basket ball. when i got home i looked at my ps2 and saw it was broken, but at that time i was so happy and got really sad. i learn from that day. before i do somthing, think about it. just refrain from the real world and think about all the consequences you face when you do what anger tells you to do. take SEVERAL DEEP breaths and just walk away. count from count down from 10 to 1. then just release those thoughts. then think about the situation, look at it from a second person view. if there was 2 of you at that moment.(pissed off you and a calm you) think about how you were acting and how the calm you would have told you to cool it. you would have told yourself ';it was no big deal'; then you will realized it WASNT a big deal.
hope this helps but if it doesnt. BUY A PUNCHING BAG AND PUNCH THE SIHT OUT OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! eventually you will get tired and all the anger will be temporailly be gone.
sorry about not answering your question in the first part
When I feel angry I refrain from saying and doing things because they will haunt you. Especially threats, words are so powerful and can still get you thrown in jail. I also think that the actions I do will harm me later, karma...
this technique may sound juvenile but it always works...if you're angry and standing, sit down..and if your sitting down..lie down (as long as you're not on a street ;-).
Drinking cold water also helps. Try it :-D
your anger is your frustration and your lack of ability to deal with this situation...fix yourself first
try to walk away or raise hell!

Do you think the Bush Adminstration should hand over security and control of several major ports to Dubai?
The Bush Adminstration is currently negotiating a transfer of control and security of six major ports along the East coast to the United Arab Emirates. Do you think it wise of the U.S. hand over such a crucial entrance point to the nation, seeing that one of the 9/11 hijackers was funded by a bank in the United Arab Emirates? Also, do you think it wise to hand over security to a nation whose brother nations think we're warring on Islam? Tell me what you think.
Thanks!Do you think the Bush Adminstration should hand over security and control of several major ports to Dubai?
Well, we're not handing the ports over to Dubai. What's happening is that the British company that manages the ports is being purchased by a company based in Dubai. So it's very likely that in terms of people ';on the ground';, i.e. the ones in the port itself, there would be very little change. Basically all that will change is the profits from the port are going to another set of CEOs.
Furthermore, there would be no change in the safety procedures at the port. The procedures are federally mandated, and enforced by the US Coast Guard, so it's not as if the new company could change them, even if they wanted to.
Speaking of which, it's not clear why people are automatically assuming that this company is somehow connected to terrorism itself. The only reason given is that the company is based in Dubai. What this reason really means is that people are afraid of having an Arab company run the ports, since ';Arabs are terrorists'; or some similar racist dreck.
But the company that in question, Dubai Ports World, has never had a security problem before. In an article on CNN.com (see below), an expert on maritime security named Kim Peterson called DPW's security record ';exemplary';.
So the sale shouldn't be a problem, although the Bush Administration is arguably making a mistake in this situation.
Their mistake is not the sale of ports, or more accurately the sale of the port management company, but rather that instead of explaining to people why they're doing what they're doing, the Administration is simply saying that we should trust them and not offering any reason to do so. That arrogance has, for obvious reasons, raised hackles on both sides of the aisle.
In sum: the sale won't effect security at all, and the only problem is politics.Do you think the Bush Adminstration should hand over security and control of several major ports to Dubai?
No! Ive always been very supportive of this Administration but this is a major mistake.
Hells no! Bush has got to go. Everybody now. Hells no! Bush has got to go.....
We should not have a foreign company in this deal. Especially not an arab one... Ally or not, why give them a chance when the ports are already ripe for terrorism?
It's a global economy. They are our allies. The terrorists were the bad guys, not these business owners from the UAE.
What if all other countries based their business decisions on a few stupid Americans? No more Americans allowed to work or own businesses in foreign countries because of a few bad USA apples?
My understanding is that actual security will still be handled by the local ports, the local Coast Guard, etc. It's not like all the security personnel will suddenly be wearing robes and turbans. And even if they did, it doesn't mean that they're bad, they're just Arabs. As hard as it can be for some people to accept that, it's just the way it is. Arabs are good people, nice people, religious people. All of our decisions on how to treat them as immigrants, as neighbors, as business partners, as friends cannot be based on the actions of a few radical terrorists.
Yes, then we should let the mob control the Justice department, the ex-CEOs of Enron and WorldCom control the treasury, and Michael Moore be the president's body guard.
No way. It will make us more susceptible to terrorism. Thanks mr. bushorigins

Why does America bite it's own hand by allowing government control over everything?
We are the government. The gov. is us working together to accomplish more than one person can alone. Now I don't want some greedy business overcharging me %26amp; not allowing any competition so I can't find another place to buy my car insurance that I have to have by law. We are gouged by non-governemt workers who are at the top in their field. They usually do not work hard to get their they just cheat more. Why does America bite it's own hand by allowing government control over everything?
Sacrificing freedom for comfort. And the libs love it.Why does America bite it's own hand by allowing government control over everything?
Simple answer: we get lazy.
Why does the right wing tell the same stupid lies over and over again? Don't they ever get old?
Laziness..
Everybody wants to have everything done for them! We are too lazy as a country! If our fellow americans would put a little work in here %26amp; there we'd be much better off!!
They don't and government does not control everything. Wake up.
Laziness and Envy
She's been derailed presently. Back on track in 2010
Because the people allowed George Dubya to take away their rights. The democrats need to stand up to the republicans and do what is right.
Some are lazy and want all done for them.
Others love freedom. We're the majority.
America will die when a majority of people realize that they can vote themselves a free life...uh oh!!!
This is a typical response by people who have experienced the benefits of living in a great society... it's a vicious cycle that repeats itself and has been the primamry reason for the downfall of every great civilization
';America'; doesn't. Liberals do. We Conservatives are in the process of handling that issue right now.
your assumption is wrong and the right has been whining about this for decades. You want less government? Then tell your congressional rep to eliminate the eventual requirement of national ID cards that will soon become law. How else will we be able to deny illegal immigrants basic health care? Maybe we wouldn't need so much oversight if people weren't so selfish and greedy they will destroy the environment just to make a buck. Or swindle others in the name of profits.
How is lending someone money and asking them to be accountable for how that money is being spent exerting ';control over everything';? I call that sound business practice.
Remember, auto and finance execs came to the government and ASKED them for money. Voluntarily.

Does the Pope has a controlling hand over the government of the world and the Vatican?
Is he very powerful? How much is his power around the world?Does the Pope has a controlling hand over the government of the world and the Vatican?
They don't have such a controlling hand over the governance of the world as they used to. They do still exert some influence in countries where Catholicism is the state religion and to some degree in the UN where they have special status due to the Vatican being a sovereign city. I live in a country where Catholicism is a state religion. There is a mandatory tithe or ';church tax'; taken from your income to go to the church. They can sue you for nonpayment. There is a small minimum of 1% of your income that is absolutely ';required'; but someone has already contacted my husband about increasing his support. You have to put in writing in a municipal government office that you are leaving the church to get out of paying it and depending on your career and how influenced that is you can have problems. My husband works with the military in both the US and here. Here the military is heavily dominated by the Catholic political party. It wouldn't be career smart to openly disaffliliate yourself with the church. There is strong incentive to not dissent the religious wing in order to have group support. This is pretty much how religion and really any group gets and holds power.Does the Pope has a controlling hand over the government of the world and the Vatican?
Pope is the religious symbol of Catholics. He does not have any real powers.
During much of the Roman Empire, the popes pretty much ruled the entire settled world.
the Pope can't even control his own priest-class, he has no power over any governments
Yes infinity times. If you were here in Italy that would come to sense more. They believe the pope to be falliable, but they don't admit that. They say his teachings are, but if his teachings are than that must mean those teachings came from him making him that status duh! That is what I have been told by my catholic friend once.
Wow, has everybody been drinking moonshine today?????
Yes, insofar as he outlines the substance of the Christian faith for every Catholic in the world. This gives him an unparalleled authority over the definitions of ';right'; and ';wrong'; in the world.

Who out there uses their left hand to control the mouse?
I do when my right's busy with something else!Who out there uses their left hand to control the mouse?
probably people who are left handed...
Also it's kind of hard too unless you have a leftie mouseWho out there uses their left hand to control the mouse?
i do once in a while...
My co-worker does. I had never send it until she needed assistance with her e-mail inbox LOL...
I do, sometimes. I tend to use my left hand for the mouse if the right side of my computer table is filled up with random papers and stuff. I'll move the mouse to the left side and use my left hand.
moi
I am left handed but use my right hand to control the mouse
my husband, we are always fighting about putting the mouse back on the right side of the desk!!!
im left handed but i use my right hang. :/
my brother does, somtimez..
I bearly do it but right now it is on my right...
I no longer use a mouse. My wonderful Apple Macbook does not require it! So much better and less clutter on my desk.
Not me.
I've tried it, but it was hard.
no one because the mouse and pad are connected to the right side of the computer
About 5% of my customers. I work on 150 - 400 computers a week. 20 at a time.
if right hand hurts, use left
common sense
my brother does
I do sometimes..but most people even lefies use the right hand
I'm left-handed, but still use the right hand to control the mouse. Most leftys don't need to use their left hand for this as we're used to living in a right hand world.

Do you have a built in ';hand'; on your computer that slaps you when you fall asleep at the controls ??
OR DOES THE KEYBOARD TRY TO BREAK YOUR NOSE?Do you have a built in ';hand'; on your computer that slaps you when you fall asleep at the controls ??
I need one of those for the steering wheel of my carDo you have a built in ';hand'; on your computer that slaps you when you fall asleep at the controls ??
My computer is maybe two feet away from my bed. I had better not ever fall asleep at the controls. LOL
Other than that, the fear of little squares indented on my face makes me leave the computer before I fall asleep. (I had a contact who told me those squares stay indented for a while)
No, but not a bad idea. If I get that tired, I turn this thing off, and call it a day. Only once, I almost fell asleep on here, and darn near hit the keyboard with my nose, so it's much easier to just turn it off.
Hey, C.W..! heh
No, I don't fall asleep at the controls... it's been a ';near thing'; once or twice though.... (that keyboard better not ..)
Do you think perhaps you ';have something'; there?
You'd have a ready-made market of Y!A users... }:%26gt;
Luckily I don't lean forawrd when I fall asleep at the PC.
But I do hold down random keys with my limp hands.
Hence why I spent 40 minutes running in circles on World of Warcraft once.
No. I usually break my nose, myself, when I fall asleep and my face lands on the desk.
I can't fall asleep sitting up.
Go to bed once in a while.
Do ya like my new pic.?
Mine gives me the finger :)
I wish my computer could slap me
Hmm... *idea*! Yep, the keyboard breaks my nose all right, and I wake up with drool everywhere.
no

How much would u pay for a second hand toshiba dvd video recorder and Remote control good condition?
Not a lot. You can get a new one in the right place for 拢80.How much would u pay for a second hand toshiba dvd video recorder and Remote control good condition?
I wouldn't. I would just buy a new one. Never buy secondhand electronics. You might think you're saving money, but you have no idea what could be wrong with the product, and if something were to go wrong, or it broke, you're stuck. With electronics especially, always better to buy new from a store, so you have at least some recourse if something happens with the item. Don't buy it. How much would u pay for a second hand toshiba dvd video recorder and Remote control good condition?
the cheapest you can get one for is about $40 at wal-mart there for id only pay about $20 for a used one and be sure to make sure it works well first
about 50 bucks
