Can you brain control then compulsory evac the monster you brain controlled to your own hand?

My Brother tried to do this to me in one of our duels. He brain controlled my DaD then compulsoried it to his hand. Then he said he didn't have to return it because it wasn't on the field. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a legal move but could someone please clarify.Can you brain control then compulsory evac the monster you brain controlled to your own hand?
You are quite right, it is an illegal move.





Compulsory Evacuation Device clearly states that it returns one monster on the field to it's owner's hand.





Him Brain Controlling your monster merely means he has taken control of it for this turn, he does not own that card. Ownership essentially means which deck it came from originally. So using Compulsory Evac would have fired DAD back to your own hand despite him being in control of it.





Using Brain Control was a waste of 800LP in this instance.

no you cant...compulsory sends it back to the OWNERS hand





what you can do instead is brain control dark armed, do all the damage and destruction you want and then use dark armeds effect to blow himself up
What the above posters said is exactly right. The card goes to the owner's hand, so the hand of the actual owner of the card.
