I don't tattoo, but I have very shaky hands. I can't take pictures or paint my nails without my hands trembling for no reason. It could just be your body and something called essential tremors. If you feel like you've done everything you can think of to put an end to the shaking, you might want to seek out a doctor. It's nothing serious, but maybe they can perscribe you beta blockers to help.

One of the main causes for shaking is anxiety. Being an apprentice, you're probably under a lot of stress. Try to find something relaxing - yoga, or even listening to music - to wind down a little before going into work.

It could also be caffeine or low blood sugar. If you're a coffee/cola drinker - or even tea - you may want to avoid them. And always, always eat something before tattooing.
Is it a nerves thing? If it is it will ease over time when you get into your own routine. Relax! Overthing is you MAY be concentarting too hard or need something to eat (serious) these make people shake. Hope this is helpful :D
It's probably your nerves. Breathe evenly!
