Out of hand parental control ?!?!?!?

Am i the only person i this work that thinks parental control has got way out if hand. first tv stations now computers, %26amp; cell phones? what happened to trusting you kids? seriously. if my parents had done that i would have been pissed and/or gone crazy.kids should have freedom and you should trust them. Whats with all this stuff?Out of hand parental control ?!?!?!?
I agree, i woulda lost it if my parents did all that. However, maybe kids these days are getting worse and worse. With more drugs and sex, maybe parents have less reason to trust their kids.Out of hand parental control ?!?!?!?
do you got kids?if so than i expect you know what kind of people thats running the streets these days dont you.a good parent worries about their kids when they arent at home at a certain time.look at tv,you hear about abductions,drugs,rapest,murder.and the kids think they know everything.until they can prove to their parents they can be trust worthy then they should not have any special privileges.sorry but thats the way i see it and i bet other parents feel the same as me.
It's tough that kids have these tools that we didn't have and it makes parents crazy because we don't know what they are saying and with the horrible possibilities it makes parents seriously frightened and paranoid %26amp; want to clamp down and off!!! Off with the stuff.


If you had one wish that made your life easier wouldn't it have been that your parents were kinder or more peaceful in the home? Try trusting before you flip your lid or get to the nearest counselor and spill your guts. Or is it just a harder version of time out? You decide and take the proper action. We are not anyone's slaves. Toys are always bartered for behavior, but it is actually kids lifeline these days, their form of communication and their place in society, LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT! It is how they communicate. But if there is a real problem, get someone to intervene %26amp; counsel you. OK? Say '; OK!';
Let's see ... with all the sexual images aimed at our kids in the movies, TV, magazines, billboards, etc. AND the perverts on line just waiting to lure our children into trouble - molesting them, raping them, murdering them AND now with the ability for these perverts and pedophiles to text message or email our kids on their cell phones ... Parental control is a must!!!!!! I thank God that most of this stuff wasn't available when my sons were teenagers. We ';only'; had to be concerned about TV and movies. Thank God! Of course, now I have to worry about what my grandchildren are exposed to. Fortunately their parents are on top of things, as best they can be in today's society.





Do you have kids? I wonder how you'll feel when you do and they get older and are exposed to the monsters on line, on TV and on cell phones.
It's the other people that parents don't trust and they have good reasons to not trust others.
Do you have any children and what planet are you on. Have you watched the news lately. It has nothing to do with weather or not you trust your child is has to do with keeping them safe.
There is a culture of fear in America. And the media is who is to blame. The media focuses only on a few high profile cases (which are always white, blonde females they focus on) and they have coverage every day for years.


Hundreds of kids around the world go missing every single year. That number isn't any more or less than it was 30 years ago. The only difference is the media is reporting on it more than they used to.
there is too much stuff out there nowadays, to be able to allow your children that much trust. they are not adults and need parental supervision. they need someone to put the restraints on when things start getting out of hand.





your parents had restraints on you known as rules to live by and guess what you did without compalint.





now your children need the same kind of rules, for if you let them run amok they will wreak havoc on the world -- and until they are 18 everything that they do will come back on you. -- in other words the law will hold you completely responsible. maybe your kids will get into the gangs and get themselves killed in a drive by shooting or something like that.





now do you think parental control is so bad.





wake up and smell the world -- its gone bad -- and only parents can clean it up.
