I have a foot control that I want to change to a hand control. does anyone know how can go about this.Is it possible to change a foot controled trolling motor to a hand control?
Any thing is possible= but have you seen how many wires come out of that sucker and go to the switch. Looks like an explosion in a colored spaghetti shop.

Any thing is possible,Just depends on your electronic skill and time you want to spend. I have been an aircraft and auto mechanic as well as electronic for more that 50 years and I tell people that if it was built by man then can be overhauled or rebuilt.I havent seen much I couldnt do that they can do in the factory. Mini Kota wont give you the info or the parts as I have tried , They want you to buy new.
