Is it illegal for the controls on a car (steering wheel etc.) to be on the right hand side?

I live in The U.S.Is it illegal for the controls on a car (steering wheel etc.) to be on the right hand side?
it is okIs it illegal for the controls on a car (steering wheel etc.) to be on the right hand side?
as long as the vehicle meets the proper safety standards, it doesnt matter where the driver sits in the US.
No. I see imported cars driving in the US with them all the time. They just aren't sold here, but they aren't illegal.
The only problem I came across while driving a right hand drive vehicle in the U.S. is when you come to a toll bridge it's a b*tch to hand change to the guy taking money. It's a stretch.
No, it's not, in fact many are used in rual areas as mail carriers.
CALL YOUR LOCAL DMV OFFICE, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS AND AT THE SAME TIME YOU WILL BE GETTING THE CORRECT ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION.
No it's not, but it does freak people out driving down the highway.
