For those who watch Supernanny, do you every wonder why she doesn't just hand them birth control?

Have you noticed that the majority of the families on the show have way too many kids. I thought that society had evolved to the point where two kids were enough, but I guess not.For those who watch Supernanny, do you every wonder why she doesn't just hand them birth control?

well....... it`s all about the show... less kids.. less audience ;))
She doesn't even have kids--why do people listen to her? Besides, she teaches these kids to have ';self control'; when she obviously doesn't have any--the woman is like 400 lbs...(no offense Miss ';Nanny';)

yeah i have wonderd! lol but i guess the best thing is to help the kids first and then at the very end hand them the birth control. it would make the show mor enteresting

i think its amazing what she does with those kids.....really it wouldnt be hard to have kids that just acted right....but you gotta start young!








i tend to use alot of the methods that she shows, with my niece %26amp; little brother that is!

lol ya. Having a child is HARD WORK... having 1 is hard, 2 is harder, 3 is even harder, 4, 5, 6....... and they wonder why thier kids are out of control. No one said parenting was easy!





But I also think some kids were allowed to do things like climb on the counters, eat whatever they want in the pantry..... when you allow this, its hard to undo that habit... especially if you change your mind and suddenly don't allow it anymore, this can be very confusing for the child.
LOL - never thought of that... but would be damned funny...





Or maybe she could suggest sterilization...

i dont think they have too many kids, i think they have just not learned correct parenting,,,,, most of the people on the show already have the family they want, so must then be using birth control, you really dont see families with young/newborn babies or pregnant women

i have 4 kids, their nothing like the super nanny kids, just because you have a lot doesnt mean you lose control or are a bad parent. i have 4 and they behave better then some kids who are the only child!
she's british - and has tact.
They already have the children. Birth control is not retroactive.
I really don't see why there are so many people in the world. creating life hurts!!!
