How do you control your anger from getting out of hand?

Under whatever circumstances...especially when dealing with other people who make you angry. What do you do to refrain from feeding your anger?How do you control your anger from getting out of hand?
take deep breaths and count to 10...or else try to prevent interacting with those people who tick you offHow do you control your anger from getting out of hand?
You need to understand how your anger makes others, especially those you care for, feel. It is not enough to feel bad after you have blown up at someone. You need to always be conscious of how your words and actions affect those around you. It's okay to be angry, but you need to learn to keep it in check.
How do we control our anger? We cannot control how and when we get angry but we can control and choose what we want to do with our anger. If we know that we fly off the handle easily, there are ways that we can do to manage it. Find out how you can control yr anger

since humans are visual creatures picture a stop sign in your head and spell the word stop before you speak this will help with reacting before thinking


evaluate the situation and determine if the person is intentionally trying to hurt, inconvenience, or anger you if the answer is no consider the motivation for their behavior if the answer is yes you have to determine if this is someone you want in your life


finally look at the situation to determine if you are reacting rationally or irrationally your source of anger may be internal instead of external
i get pissed alot of times to (when i was younger and kinda still) but 1 day somthing happened and i had realized i had to take responsiblity for my actions. i was playing a game on my ps2 and this boss kept killing me. i was so mad....I MEAN REALLY MAD. i kept thinking, this guy is cheating!!!! ITS NOT FAIR!!! then i got so pissed i threw the controller at the ps2........it broke. then i stormed away, ran into my room and laid down. later a friend of mine invited me to play basket ball. when i got home i looked at my ps2 and saw it was broken, but at that time i was so happy and got really sad. i learn from that day. before i do somthing, think about it. just refrain from the real world and think about all the consequences you face when you do what anger tells you to do. take SEVERAL DEEP breaths and just walk away. count from count down from 10 to 1. then just release those thoughts. then think about the situation, look at it from a second person view. if there was 2 of you at that moment.(pissed off you and a calm you) think about how you were acting and how the calm you would have told you to cool it. you would have told yourself ';it was no big deal'; then you will realized it WASNT a big deal.





hope this helps but if it doesnt. BUY A PUNCHING BAG AND PUNCH THE SIHT OUT OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! eventually you will get tired and all the anger will be temporailly be gone.

When I feel angry I refrain from saying and doing things because they will haunt you. Especially threats, words are so powerful and can still get you thrown in jail. I also think that the actions I do will harm me later, karma...
this technique may sound juvenile but it always works...if you're angry and standing, sit down..and if your sitting down..lie down (as long as you're not on a street ;-).





Drinking cold water also helps. Try it :-D
your anger is your frustration and your lack of ability to deal with this situation...fix yourself first
try to walk away or raise hell!
